She freezes, her mouth pursing into a little O of surprise and her cheeks going a soft pink. It's dumb but all of a sudden she feels guilty, as if he can read her mind and know that she was just contemplating on breaking into the appliance store to check on him. Luckily she manages to recover quickly and gives him a sunny smile, "Hey there sweets."
"I....uh nothing's wrong. Your brother is fine, I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd check in on you. You know...just in case Luther asked about you tomorrow night at work." She motions at the store, "I'd feel pretty bad if he was like 'oh Roxy I just found out that my little brother got stabbed to death by a homeless guy'."
