RP with Number Five

Roxy stands in her new apartment (okay it's not new new but it's new to her) in a pair of short shorts, a bralette, and a baseball cap. She looks around, trying to figure out where she wants to start painting, she's thought ahead and taped the paint swatches to the corresponding walls so she knows which pink is going where. Now all she needs is her designated helper to arrive....
While she waits she cracks open a beer, turns up the volume on her bluetooth speaker and begins to sing along to the song that's playing, after all she might as well enjoy the acoustics of her new place while it's empty.]

You make me weep and want to die, just when you said we'd try
Lovin', touchin', squeezin' each other....

[She dumps her roller into the tray and moves into his arms, smiling happily.]

That would be nice, can I also talk you into giving me a massage? Pleeeeease?

[She nods.]

Yup the cabinets are purple and the tub will be pink. I'll do the tub if you don't mind.

I suppose I could be convinced to do that for you.

[ He teases as he rubs a hand down her back. ]

Alright, though I think you saddling me with the cabinets is the bigger job.

[ He says with a chuckle, pressing a kiss to her cheek. ]

[She turns and kisses him back behind his ear.]

I know, I'm sooooo mean. But I can make it worth your while.

[She licks his earlobe before giving it a little nibble.]

Are you mean or are you just taking advantage of your old man?

[ He chuckles despite feeling that tingle in his groin at the way she licks at his ear. His hand runs down her back and smooths over her bottom, giving her rear a playful squeeze. ]

I believe it, baby. Because I will be holding you to that promise.

[ He tells her as he turns his face to catch her lips in a quick kiss. ]

[She gives him a mock innocent look.]

Me? Take advantage? Never!

[She kisses him back and gives him a sly grin.]

Darlin, you can hold anything you want to me.

So, you ready to get these last bits done or do you need a break?

Oh never.

[ He mocks with a small laugh, but it is done with great affection. ]

I'm good to keep going. Besides the sooner we finish here, the sooner we can go back to my place.

[ He tells her as he drops a kiss to her neck. ]

Good point. Okay. Just... One more.

[She grasps his face in her hands, kissing him firmly and thoroughly before releasing him and stepping away towards the bathroom.]

Just needed that last bit of inspiration. If I finish before you I'll come help.

[ There's no protests from him as he kisses her back just as firmly, definitely in need of that final push to get the job done because he desperately wants to ravish her. ]

Mmmm, alright then.

[ He agrees once they break a part and she heads into the bathroom. He goes over to the kitchen and puts the food boxes into the fridge for the meantime. Since it is cabinets, he goes to set up a tarp on the counter and then grabs the brushes to paint rather than the rollers, for more control.

He starts painting the lower cabinets and drawers first, doing his best to stay neat and even with his brush strokes. He really can be a perfectionist when it come to things like this. ]

[Alone in the bathroom she sets to work on painting the base of the tub pink, excited at how quickly her apartment is starting to feel like hers. It's amazing what a little paint and a little making out with your boyfriend can do for a place....

She smiles to herself and begins to sing again, unintentionally picking a song that could definitely have a deeper meaning behind it should either of them be paying attention.]

You could make me the happiest woman in the land...

[Eventually she finishes up with the tub and stands up, hearing her back pop when she stretches, and after giving the tub one last final check she bounces out into the kitchen to check on Five.]

How's it going, sweets?

[ He's always charmed when she starts singing, but her song choice in the bathroom definitely hits different. He feels something warm in his chest and smiles to himself as he continues painting the cabinets.

By the time she comes out of the bathroom to check up on his progress, he's finished the bottom cabinets and drawers. Thus he's on the step ladder working on painting the upper cabinets. ]

Just working on the upper cabinets here. How does it look so far?

[She pretends to look at his work critically, already knowing that he's done a better job than she would have.]

Hrmmm well, the color looks great but that paint suit is really doing nothing for your ass.... I can barely see it, it's so baggy.

[oldmanfive]

[ He shakes his head chuckling at her comment, because of course she can't help herself. ]

Well if you want a shot at getting a better view of my ass sans the baggy jumper then get your hot little ass up here and help me finish this job.

[She laughs and grabs an extra roller and then floats up and over to him.]

Ooooh such sassy remarks!

[With the two of them painting it doesn't take that much longer and eventually they finish, when they finally step back she looks around and realize they've spent most the day painting. The bright sunshine that been streaming in through her windows a now softer dusk tone.]

And done! What do you think? Does it look like I live here yet?

[ He moves to stand by as they look around her apartment. He smiles at her question and presses a kiss to her temple. ]

It is still empty in here, but it looks ready to receive one Roxanne Spaulding.

[ He says as he goes to wrap his arms around her waist. ]

It's your first place, babe. I'm so happy for you.

[She grins and nods, looking around at all the bright colored walls. Trying to imagine how it will all come together with her new furniture.]

I'm so excited, it feels.... Really good. More than that, it feels right.

[She turns and kisses his cheek.]

Thank you, for all your help but also for....I guess, inspiring me to finally move out on my own.

[ He turns his face to capture her lips in a full on kiss, because he is just so proud of her for taking such a huge step in her life. ]

Baby, I'm so proud of you for really going out of your comfort zone. This is such a big step and I'm happy to share it with you.

[ He brings one hand up to rest on her neck as he just looks into her beautiful violet eyes with all the adoration he feels for her.]

You deserve a fresh start and I couldn't be happier to be a part it.

[Hearing that he's proud of her makes her feel happy and even more excited and she kisses him back firmly.]

I wouldn't have it any other way.

[She looks in his eyes, feeling hopeful and excited for her future in this apartment.
For their future here together.]

So.... Shall we clean up here and then head back to your place? I think I hear a hot bath and massage calling my name.

[ He wraps his arms around her to kiss her again because how could he not, when she is looking so gorgeous in their current lighting. He too is excited for what the future holds for them, but it is pretty huge that he is looking forward to the future. ]

Mmmm, that sounds like a plan to me.

[ He replies with an amused smile because he can't wait to her back to his place. So they can enjoy each other sans the clothing. ]
