[ He smiles as he wraps his arms around her waist. ]

Can you say that again? That I'm yours? Then I promise to release you so we can get presentable for company. I just....I need to hear it.

[ He leans to press a short kiss to her lips, before pulling back enough to whisper against them. ]

You're my lady, Roxy. And I'm sorry if I ever made you doubt it.

Mmmm. Thank you.

[She whispers back before finally pulling herself away from him, she wants more, especially since they haven't had this energy for weeks now but they do have company coming and she'd rather not have her sister arrive to find her making out under the Christmas tree with Five.]

Okay I'll fix myself and then I'll make us some drinks, do you want a cocktail or are you going to stick with water tonight?

I should stick to water, alcohol will only clash with the medication Grace and Lynch have me on.

[ He replies with a bit of a sigh. He definitely misses the cocktails but he also doesn't want to hinder his recovery either. He presses a kiss to her jawline and heads to the room to straighten himself up. ]

Okay, I'll get that for you.

[She quickly pops to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup and then goes into the kitchen to make them both drinks, a gin and tonic for herself and a bubbly water with lime garnish for Five. Because even if he can't drink tonight there's no reason he can't feel fancy.
When he comes out of the bedroom she comes over to him with the drinks, smiling.]

Here you go, sweets.

Thank you, sweetheart.

[ He smiles as he takes the glass of water and takes a sip. Before he can say anything else there's a knock at the door. He leans over to press another kiss to Roxy's cheek before heading over to the door to answer it. He's greeted to seeing Grace and Klaus standing in the hallway. ]

Hello, dear. Don't you look dapper.

[ Grace remarks as Five steps aside to let them inside. Grace is a covered tray of food, while Klaus has a few Christmas presents in his arms.]

Where are the others?

Luther and Diego are parking the car and bringing the rest of the stuff up. Allison and Vanya were heading over on their own. They said they had to pick something up.

[ Klaus replies before looking around at the holiday decorations and then spotting Roxy looking as lovely as ever. He goes to quickly put the gifts down by the tree before turning his attention to Roxy. ]

Oh my goodness! Look at you, Queen!

[ Klaus exclaims as he goes to give Roxy a big hug. Though his eyes immediately fall on the necklace. ]

Oh my, you really must be a queen with crown jewels like this!

[ He gestures toward the necklace. Grace goes to put the platter of desserts she prepared on the counter, before turning her attention to Roxy and Klaus. ]

You look quite lovely, dear.

[Roxy laughs and gives Klaus an enthusiastic hug, laughing and blushing a little when he points out her necklace.]

Yeah I guess I was a good girl this year because someone decided to spoil me.

[She says, shooting Five a look and a wink, she then gives Grace a little wave.]

Hi Grace, you look really nice too. You both do.

[She grins and gives Klaus' shoulder a nudge.]

Oh and speaking of looking nice, I convinced Bobby to wear his nicest suit tonight just for you. It's the one he got in Italy a few years ago.

I should have known, Mister Big Spender over there.

[ Klaus teases as he looks over to Five, who just shrugs because what can he say. There's no amount he wouldn't spend on Roxy, because she's worth it to him. ]

It was money well spent.

Thank you, dear. I hope you don't mind, but I brought more food. Diego and Luther are bringing the rest up.

You didn't have to do that, mom.

I know, dear, but I thought it would be good to have the extra food given the appetites of some of your guests.

[ Grace replies with a kindly smile. Klaus chuckles as he lightly bumps Roxy's shoulder.]

Are you trying to fix me up with your straight friend?

[Roxy smiles at Grace and nods.]

She's right, between Kat, Grunge, Diego and Luther we are almost guaranteed not to have left overs. Even with the extra stuff your mom brought.

[She then turns her attention back to Klaus and smiles mischievously.]

Fix you up might be a strong word for it, more like ensuring that you get some nice male eye candy tonight. But should you two hit it off in other ways....well you know.... That's good too. I've heard you're pretty good at making straight guys test out the bisexual waters.

[ Before Five can say anything there's another knock at the door. He goes to answer it and is greeted to the sight of the moronic duo. Luther and Diego both hold food platters. Five just frowns as he opens the door to let them in, but he doesn't give either of them a greeting. He barely lets them get through the door before he's shutting it. ]

Hey!

[ Diego snaps as he narrowly avoids getting clipped. Five shoot him a dirty look and he lets out a sigh as he just walks over to the kitchen to the put the platter down and Luther just follows suit rather than trying to engage Five in a conversation. Klaus lets out an awkward laugh and mutters under his breath. ]

Oh these brothers of mine. [ But he turns his attention back to Roxy. ] Eye candy is good.

[ Klaus says with a sly smile and gives Roxy a side hug. ]

[Roxy knew that inviting Diego and Luther was going to cause a little tension but it is the holidays and now that Lila is gone she doesn't want to exclude any members of Five's family. Even if he is mad at them.]

Eye candy is the best.

[She says and gives Klaus a little squeeze back before going over to Luther and Diego.]

Hiya boys, happy holidays!

[She says cheerfully and motions for them both to lean down to hug her, she's so tiny that Luther's massive arms almost make her disappear when he hugs her.]

You both look nice.

[ Five drinks down his glass of water wishing it were something stronger before walking toward the couch and dropping himself down. Klaus goes to sit next to him, his eyes falling to the glass. ]

It's just sparkling water, Klaus.

[ He mutters because he can guess what the look is about as he places the glass on the side table and lets out a sigh. ]

It's the holidays, Five. Maybe cut them a little slack.

[ He says in a low enough voice just for Five to hear. Five looks at him like he's stupid. ]

This is all the slack they are getting from me.

[ He's allowed them to be here and he hasn't tried to rip their faces off for touching his girlfriend. That's all the Christmas spirit he has got for them. ]

[Roxy meanwhile fixes Luther and Diego drinks, laughing when Diego comments about her amazingly pink bedroom and the pink Christmas tree.]

It's my favorite color, I even used to have pink hair when I was younger.

[She passes the boys their drinks and then motions for them to head into the living room.]

There's gifts for you under the tree but don't open them yet, I'd like for Allison and Vanya to get here first.

[Grace checks on the food that the boys brought up making sure everything is still in order.

All the while Five stares a hole through his brothers. If looks could kill, Diego and Luther would be dead on the floor. Thankfully there is another knock to break his concentration. Klaus hops up to get the door and he breathes a sigh of relief to see Allison and Vanya.

Both are carrying packages as they make their way inside. Klaus goes to take some of the load when he notices Vanya's violin case on her back.]

Oh are you going to play us some music?

[Vanya shakes her head no.]

No, I had a Christmas Eve performance.

Why didn't you remind me?

[Five asks as he and Roxy hadn't made it to any of Vanya's performances for the season. He looks legitimately hurt and she instantly goes over to him.]

I'm sorry, Five. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to brave the crowds given your recovery.

[Roxy smiles happily when Allison and Vanya arrive and goes to help take their coats, she's a little sad that they haven't seen Vanya perform yet but between everything that had happened she and Five have barely left her apartment.]

You can play something if you want Vanya, my neighbors won't mind. They're already used to me playing loud music. Actually they'd probably be happier to hear violin music than the K-Pop I usually blast...

[She says and motions towards the kitchen.]

You two want something to drink?

I would have braved it to see you perform.

[ Vanya gives his arm a squeeze and presses a kiss to his cheek.]

Next time, I promise.

[ She whispers to him before turning her attention toward Roxy. While Allison goes to put the last of the gift boxes in her arms under the tree.]

I'm fine for right now.

[ Vanya replies with a smile as she goes to put her violin case down on the side of the couch. Allison just shakes her head she goes to sit down.]

I'm driving, so no cocktails for me tonight. You look beautiful by the way. Love the dress.

[ Allison remarks with a bright smile, just happy to see that Roxy and Five felt well enough to dress up. Even happier that Five is wearing one of the suits he bought when she and Grace took him shopping. ]

Oh thank you, you both look great too.

[Roxy says and comes into the living room, having a seat next to Five. Leaning over to give him a quick kiss on the cheek before looking at all of his family.]

So would y'all like to open your gifts now? Or later?

Shouldn't we wait for the rest of your company to get here?

[ Allison asks as she can't help feel it would be a little rude if they get started before Roxy's family got there. Five simply shrugs as he obviously doesn't have a strict guideline on gifts one way or other.]

There's no rush. She's just asking in general.

[ He leans over to press a kiss to Roxy's cheek in turn. ]

Oh yeah I guess you're right.

[Roxy says after a moments consideration and gives Allison a guilty smile.]

Sorry I'm just excited, I've never had so many people to give gifts to.

[ Klaus replies with a good natured smile as he drops down on the opposite side of Roxy. Suddenly Five feels several eyes on him and he's not on board with being the focal point of anything right now.]

I need another drink.

[ He mutters as he abruptly gets up and heads over to the kitchen moving past Luther without even glancing at him. Luther just lets out a sigh and looks as though he's debating saying anything. Five continues to ignore him as he pulls a water bottle out of the fridge. Inwardly he has to wonder if this was a good idea after all, given how small Roxy's place and how many people will be showing up.]

[Roxy watches Five go into the kitchen carefully, trying to figure out if he's okay or not. His shoulders have that tense look about them and she gets up after a moment to follow him, giving Klaus a little wink.]

Hey.

[She says softly to Five when she enters the kitchen, giving him a coy little smile.]

I thought I was going to be bartender all night. I would have gotten you another fancy water.

[ It's not lost on Five that his siblings eyes on him and Roxy now, despite some of them trying to act like they aren't watching them. ]

I can't do this. It's getting too crowded in here already.

[ He says with a shake of his head as he puts the water bottle on the counter and makes his way over to the fire escape. He needs air and that seems like the only way he's going to get it.

He much would have rather braved one of Vanya's performance at least all eyes would have been on Vanya and not him.]

[Roxy is about to follow Five again when there's a knock on the door so she leaves him to get some air while she answers the door, it's the entire Gen 13 crew who arrive with friendly enthusiasm.]

Happy holidays!

[Grunge exclaims and Roxy smiles, hugging each of her friends as they come in. Once she's hung up their coats she quietly asks Bobby to make drinks for everyone while she checks on Five.
She goes out on the little fire escape patio, making sure to close the door behind herself.]

Hey handsome.

[She says, touching his shoulder gently.]

[ It's cold outside, but the cold air does help to clear his head. He contemplates porting to the roof for some extra privacy but he's been trying to go easy on using his powers while working through his recovery. That doesn't make him any less tempted though.

As he hears the door open, his back stiffens because he's not sure if he's fit to be around anyone at this rate. However he smells her perfume, before he feels her hand land on his shoulder. His grip on the railing slightly tightens as he hates disappointing her. She wanted this gathering but he's honestly already hating it and wants to be far away from it.]

I'm sorry, sweetheart. I think I may have overestimated how social I am capable of being right now.
